Couples Workshops in Pasadena

Support for Recovery offers in-person couples workshops in Pasadena, CA, grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and designed to help couples reconnect, heal relational wounds, and strengthen emotional bonds in a supportive, structured environment.

From time to time, I offer workshops and group learning experiences focused on attachment, relationships, and healing. In the past, I have facilitated Hold Me Tight® workshops, a structured relationship program based on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) developed by Dr. Sue Johnson. These workshops help couples understand the patterns that create distance in relationships and learn practical ways to reconnect with one another.

At the moment, there are no upcoming workshops scheduled. However, I am always open to opportunities to bring attachment-informed workshops to communities, organizations, and groups that may benefit from this work. If you are part of a community group, organization, workplace, or educational setting and are interested in hosting a workshop, you are welcome to reach out.

What Participants Say

“I recently attended a two-day Hold Me Tight workshop that Tsoline facilitated and would highly recommend it to any couple wanting to improve their communication skills and deepen their connection. Tsoline brought personal stories to bring the material alive and gave individual attention to help us apply the skills to our relationship. What a great way to reconnect with your partner during a weekend away from the real world.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A Hold Me Tight® workshop is a relationship program based on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a research-backed approach to couples therapy developed by Dr. Sue Johnson. The workshop guides couples through structured conversations and exercises that help them understand the emotional patterns in their relationship and learn ways to reconnect and respond to one another with greater empathy and security.

  • Workshops are typically designed for couples who want to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, or better understand their emotional connection. They can also be helpful for couples experiencing recurring conflict, feeling disconnected, or navigating life transitions together.

  • Not at all. Many couples attend workshops as a way to deepen their connection and build skills before problems become more serious. Others attend because they feel stuck in familiar patterns and want support in creating new ways of relating.

  • Workshops are educational and experiential group events rather than therapy sessions. They provide guided exercises, learning, and reflection opportunities. While the material is grounded in therapeutic principles, workshops are not a substitute for individual or couples therapy.

  • If you’re interested in hosting a workshop, please reach out by email to tsoline@supportforrecovery.com to discuss your group, location, and goals. Tsoline is happy to explore potential collaborations and tailor workshops to the needs of your community.

“The greatest gift a couple can give each other is emotional responsiveness.”
